भारत के आर्थिक सुधारों के लिए चांदी उत्पादन एक उम्मीद की किरण

उदयपुर, 18 जनवरी, 2021 चांदी एक बहुमूल्य धातु है और मानव जाति के लिए सबसे अनुकूलनीय और संसाधन-संपन्न धातुओं में से एक है। इसका उपयोग सोलर सेल से नैनो तकनीक के लिए किया जाता है। भारत दुनिया में चांदी के सबसे बड़े उपभोक्ताओं में से एक है और हम चाहिए तो चांदी के सबसे बड़े उत्पादक भी बन सकते हैं। वेदान्ता में हम दो दशकों से भी अधिक समय से खनिजों एवं धातुओं की वास्तविक क्षमता का दोहन कर भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता यात्रा के भागीदार है।

इसी प्रतिबद्धता के साथ, कंपनी ने चांदी सहित धातुओं और खनिजों को उजागर करने वाले एक केंद्रित अभियान की शुरुआत की है, जो राष्ट्र के लिए आर्थिक सुधार प्रक्रिया को गति देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकता है। अभियान वेदांता नंद घर पर भी केंद्रित है जो आधुनिक सुविधाओं के साथ आंगनवाड़ी इकोसिस्टम तंत्र को बदल रहा है और बाल कुपोषण के उन्मूलन, इंटरैक्टिव शिक्षा, गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवा और कौशल विकास प्रदान करने वाली महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहा है। समाज को वापस देना वेदांता के आधारभूत मूल्य का हिस्सा है और नंद घर का उद्देश्य जमीनी स्तर पर 8 करोड़ महिलाओं और 2 करोड़ बच्चों के जीवन को बदलना है।

चांदी अपने सांस्कृतिक और आर्थिक उपयोगों के मामले में मूल्यवान है और देश के व्यवसायों और शिल्पकारों को इसकी सामथ्र्य, अपील और प्रतिभा के लिए एक बड़ा अवसर प्रदान करता है। हर साल, भारत 6000 मीट्रिक टन चांदी का आयात करता है (कुल मांग का 85ः -90ः:), जो वित्तीय वर्ष 2020 में लगभग 17,022 करोड़ रुपये था, जबकि देश में 30,000 मीट्रिक टन चांदी के भंडार मौजूद है, जो मांग से 5 गुना ज्यादा है। राजस्थान एक खनिज समृद्ध राज्य है और जहां देश के सम्पूर्ण चांदी का लगभग 98 प्रतिशत है। खनन राज्य के लिए इस बड़े अवसर को बनाने, राजस्व में कई गुना वृद्धि और रोजगार सृजन करने में कदद कर सकता है। इसका एक महत्वपूर्ण जरिया है सरकार एवं उद्योग साझेदारी के माध्यम से एक्सप्लोरेशन को खोलकर विदेशी मुद्रा व्यय को कम करना।

सिल्वर की क्षमता पर बात करते हुए, श्री अरुण मिश्रा, सीईओ हिंदुस्तान जिंक ने कहा, “विश्वभर में उत्पादित चांदी का लगभग 80 प्रतिशत उद्योगों में उपयोग किया जाता है जबकि भारत में यह 20-25 प्रतिशत से भी कम है। समय की जरूरत है कि चांदी के भंडारों का दोहन किया जाए और आपूर्ति में नियमितता और निरंतरता लाई जाए और सभी एमएसएमई और एसएमई उद्योगों और चांदी का उपयोग करने वाले स्थानीय कारीगरों को मजबूत किया जाए। हमारे जैसे भारतीय उत्पादकों ने यह सुनिश्चित किया है कि भारतीय चांदी वैश्विक मानकों के अनुरूप शुद्धता और समापन बराबर रहे। वेदान्ता इस उद्योग में अग्रणी लोगों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए अग्रसर है और चांदी चांदी देश के 5 ट्रिलियन डाॅलर सपने को पूरा करने का सशक्त माध्यम बन सकता है।’’
